AQC SIGNS MOU WITH KOMACON

With the presence of Worney, Bira Dantas, Eder Santos and Vasqs.

1) Was signed (by AQC-ESP chef-director) a cooperation agreement between our brazilian cartoonists association and korean Komacon to exchange information, experiences, contacts and activities. The act was photographed and the photos and the signed document will be sent to Korea. The first act was to appoint Bira Dantas as AQC representant to participate in August, on the Bicof (Bucheon International Comics Festival).

2) Cartoon and Comics Magazine "Picles # 01 edition. We have received 30 works done by 12 artists. The material has very good quality (ideas, arguments and art). Franco de Rosa will create the magazine's cover, and a magazine sample to negotiate with publishers. Fernando dos Santos will do the layout. The works' quality and quick response, proves that the theme was right and that also reflects the possible interest of the public.

3) About 28 Ângelo Agostini, Worney told that he will no longer organize the event, but is willing to share the entire operation to his successor on continuing the activity.

4) Another discussed point was the end of the website Bigorna. It was suggested that AQC's blog becomes a national release page.

5) Worney was gifted by Bira with many BD (Comics) editions brought from Angouleme by Bira Dantas, this january.
Angouleme Comics Festival is one of the greatests in the world.

6) We talked about the importance on participating in International Contests and Expositions as Brazilian Parallel Cartoon Exposition in Sicaf and William MR (AQC member)'s running for votes on Sicaf Web Contest. Bira is participating on Cartoons Expositions in Croatia (Blues Festival), Italy (Fratelli and Trasimeno Blues Fest), Girona (Spain), Sardegna and Sicaf.
